TITLES RUIN EVERYTHING: A STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS -KENZA SAMIR & AUBREY GRAHAM

Starting with the announcement of his new book with Kenza Samir (TITLES RUIN EVERYTHING: A STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS), Drake recently began the rollout for his new album “For All The Dogs”. The album is rumoured to be more RnB based and several sources have even said that the album was supposedly pushed back recently due to the release of Young Thug’s “Business Is Business” (of which he featured on 2 tracks). It was then also rumoured to be dropping on June 30th which faced even more backlash online as that was the date “Pink Tape” by Lil Uzi Vert finally came out — despite Drake never even announcing a release date himself.

A QR code in the newly released book leads to titlesruineverything.com. The website simply says:

I made an album to go with the book

They say they miss the old Drake girl don’t tempt me

FOR ALL THE DOGS

I have actually bought the book myself so I’ll link to a post about that when it arrives.

“they miss the old Drake”

After the release of “Honestly, Nevermind”, everyone was talking about how they missed “the old Drake” and what he did on his earlier releases like “Nothing Was The Same” and “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late”. HN was very different to his previous releases and focused more on the house/dance genre that didn’t seem to appeal to older fans.

Drake even released merch as a way to “get back” at all the fans saying things like this and to promote the album. This phrase being included in the rollout for “For All The Dogs” could mean he plans on doing the same thing and completely changing his sound once again.

2 new leaks from the album

The claim that the album was going to drop in late June is also backed by a post on the forum leaked.cx which states “I got the rest of the album too so hmu if you want early” — suggesting the album is probably finished and will likely release soon.

This post also contained 7 previously unheard Drake songs:

Tried Our Best (from For All The Dogs)
I’m The Problem (from For All The Dogs)

Yves Slatt Laurent
416 (featuring Big Sean) [Views Era]
Calling My Name (Original Version) [from Honestly, Nevermind]
Lose You (Versions 1 & 2) [from More Life]

According to the Genius page for the album, the single “Search & Rescue” will likely be on the album.

Hard Feelings, Harder Dick (??)

Also on the Genius page is a mock cover for the album created by hoodtoyota. The cover is a “concept based on the QR code in the book and a paparazzi shot of Drake in Miami, Florida wearing a hoodie that features the same two puppies” The user also states that “many assume this [Hard Feelings, Harder Dick] was the previous title of the album since Drake was also seen wearing a leather jacket sporting the same title at a Lil Wayne concert”.
